对工业废气进行脱硫处理的设备，以塔式设备居多，即为脱硫塔。用于燃煤发电厂烟气脱硫的大型脱硫装置称为脱硫塔，而用于燃煤工业锅炉和窑炉烟气脱硫的小型脱硫除尘装置多称为脱硫除尘器。在脱硫塔和脱硫尘器中，应用碱液洗涤含SO2的烟气，对烟气中的SO2进行化学吸收。

The equipment for desulphurization of industrial waste gas is mostly tower type equipment, that is, desulphurization tower. The large-scale desulphurization device used for coal-fired power plant flue gas desulfurization is called desulfurization tower, and the small desulfurization and dust removal device used for coal-fired industrial boiler and kiln flue gas desulphurization is mostly called desulphurization dust collector. In the desulphurization tower and the desulphurization dust, the alkali solution is used to wash the smoke containing SO2, and the chemical absorption of the SO2 in the flue gas is carried out.
