催化裂化烟气湿法脱硫治理技术，在烟气净化过程中优势明显。催化裂化烟气湿法脱硫和除尘过程按脱硫产物是否回收，分为可再生循环吸收法和抛弃法两大类。可再生循环吸收法将脱硫副产物以硫酸、硫磺、硫铵等形式加以回收，废水排放量较少、脱硫剂消耗低，但工艺流程较为复杂，投资较高。抛弃法脱硫得到的物料没有回收价值或者无法回收，脱硫过程产生大量废水，但其工艺流程简单、投资相对较低，在国内应用较多。
The technology of FCC flue gas wet desulfurization has obvious advantages in the process of flue gas purification. According to whether the desulfurization products are recovered or not, the wet desulfurization and dust removal processes of FCC flue gas can be divided into two categories: renewable cycle absorption method and abandonment method. The by-products of desulfuration are recovered in the form of sulfuric acid, sulfur and ammonium sulfate by renewable cycle absorption method. The waste water discharge is less and the desulfuration agent consumption is low, but the process flow is more complex and the investment is higher. There is no recycling value or can not be recovered for the materials obtained by the abandonment desulfurization. A large amount of waste water is produced in the desulfurization process, but the process flow is simple, the investment is relatively low, and it is widely used in China.
催化裂化烟气治理技术在国外已发展多年，技术相对成熟。美国Belco公司的EDV 烟气净化工艺、美国Exxon公司的WGS 烟气净化工艺、德国GEA公司的EP-ABSORBER 烟气净化工艺，在国内炼油厂应用较多。国外技术烟气净化效果较好，但也存在液气比大、压力降较高、需要高额技术引进费等劣势。国内对催化裂化烟气脱硫技术研究起步相对较晚，但近年来发展非常迅速，主要有两种技术路线。
